Design Insight: I like ‘em round

It’s a proven fact that shapes with soft edges are more pleasing for the eye, so I took this theme and ran home (literally, to my house) with it when it came time to updating my entryway.

A Little About Me

I’m a Swede who lives in the Silver Lake part of Los Angeles. I like my design functional with oodles of color, never met a pompom I didn’t like, could quite happily road-test lipgloss for the rest of my life and am on the constant search for the perfect T-shirt. I was a magazine editor for 15 years, wrote a bunch of books that gave teen girls more beauty tips than they’ll ever need and owned a design store…not all at the same time.

Current obsessions: Chola-girl eyeliner, Clare V. french T-shirts, leaving chia seeds in plain yogurt overnight so it turns into pudding and the CVT soft serve ice cream truck. This will change, I can be fickle.
