I Want To Be This Woman

I want to be willowy, gazelle-like, live in a cold climate, have perfect skin, and fit (but not overly-developed calves) as well as have a permanent serene look on my face. Why? So I can wear this ensemble exactly how it’s photographed at Totokaelo. If you’ve never ordered from this site, not only do they do my favorite fashion curation, but purchases come wrapped in trippy, Carl Sagan Cosmo-esque wrapping paper. It’s the perfect example of cool customer service even though you never set foot in a store.

A Little About Me

I’m a Swede who lives in the Silver Lake part of Los Angeles. I like my design functional with oodles of color, never met a pompom I didn’t like, could quite happily road-test lipgloss for the rest of my life and am on the constant search for the perfect T-shirt. I was a magazine editor for 15 years, wrote a bunch of books that gave teen girls more beauty tips than they’ll ever need and owned a design store…not all at the same time.

Current obsessions: Chola-girl eyeliner, Clare V. french T-shirts, leaving chia seeds in plain yogurt overnight so it turns into pudding and the CVT soft serve ice cream truck. This will change, I can be fickle.
